Mr. Aoyama is the head designer of Factory900, a company known for its creative approach toward acetate frames. He now has an eponymous collection of exquisitely crafted titanium eyewear, and I’m delighted to introduce his work to Chicago. It appears as though the corner of this playful frame has been snipped off, twisted 90 degrees, and reattached. An invisible nylon cord provides extra support, and the rim is highlighted by a black pinstripe.
